Boarding Schools From €15,000 per academic year
Boarding schools are privately run but are non profit. These schools receive subsistence from the Irish Government and are subject to inspections. Irish Private Boarding Schools have an excellent reputation and most students go on to study at top level universities in Ireland and around the world.

There are two boarding options for students; full boarding i.e. 7 days per week and week-day boarding 5 days per week (Mon – Fri).
During school holidays and exeat weekends, where applicable, IEG offers host family stays for an additional fee.
Students will follow a comprehensive academic schedule with free time to spend on extra-curricular activities including sport.

Private Day Schools from €6,000 per academic year

Private Day Schools have an excellent reputation in Ireland. Similar to Boarding Schools, most students go on to study at top level universities.
Class-sizes are small with 20 to 25 students per class on average. Students receive a high level of individual attention, encouraging each student to reach their full potential.
Students have the opportunity to join a wide range of extra-curricular activities during their free time. Day School students stay with a host family for the duration of the academic year.

Host families are carefully chosen by IEG most of whom have worked with us for many years. We always locate families close to the chosen school and all families are carefully vetted by our trained staff and students and families are regularly visited by our guardians.

New material

IEG Guardians are all over the age of 25 and are located no more than 2 hours travelling distance from the school. IEG Guardians are English speaking and are permanent residents in Ireland. Where Guardians are away from home, even for a short period, another IEG Guardian will be appointed and full contact details will be sent to the school, parents and agency.

IEG’s Guardians undergo police vetting. This provides parents with peace of mind and ensures their child will be cared for throughout their stay in Ireland. IEG’s Guardians understand the School’s rules, regulations and policies and they support the School’s ethos and aims. IEG’s Guardians ensure that all legal documents such as visas are kept up to date and renewed where applicable.
